Back and even better for 2010! Yes, another great year to look forward to! What does Velo Girls do best? We build a community of women who ride bikes together. Our endurance team is a new component of Team Velo Girls, introduced in 2007, and dedicated to community-building and having fun!
Join Team Velo Girls on organized training rides throughout the season. We'll lead you through a series of progressive training rides to prepare you for metrics, centuries and climbs. We'll help you learn how to train. We'll guide you on endurance nutrition and hydration. And we'll have a lot of fun together!
Please note that none of the events listed are Velo Girls events. Training participants are encouraged to register early for these events to ensure participation.

2010 Team Velo Girls Co-ed Climbing Series
Come train with us for your big summer cycling event! Our Co-Ed Climbing Series begins April 25 and is for anyone training for a hilly century or 200k (or even the Death Ride!) or who just wants to go on some longer climbing rides. Also, the series is co-ed, so invite the guys!
You don't have to be training for a particular ride to join us and you are welcome to come on all or just some of the rides. You do have to be in good enough shape to complete the miles and climbing each week at a pace of about 12-14 mph.
We have included two local organized centuries, the Sequoia and Best of the Bay, so there are actual events built in. Don't forget to sign up for those rides if you want to join us!
A tentative schedule is below. The roll times for the first two rides are posted. The roll times for the rest of the rides will depend on BART schedules if applicable, the official start time of the organized rides and forecasted temperature for that day.
The rides are mostly on Sunday through June 6, so through that date, Northern Exposure Ride will be on hiatus, but will start back on June 12.

Hope to see you!
